Go to the Admin Panel

In your EnterGes dashboard, click on Setup (usually in the left sidebar or top menu).

Click on Accounting Settings

Then go to Account Detail Types
-
Click the “+ New Account Detail Type” button

Fill in the form:
| Field | What to Enter |
|---|---|
| Name | e.g., Bank Adjustments, Tax Offset |
| Account Type | Choose: Expenses, Equity, Assets, etc. |
| Description | e.g., Used for manual bank corrections. |

Click Save
✅ Now You Can Use It

Go back to Accounting > Chart of Accounts

Create a new account or edit an existing one

You will now see the newly created Detail Type in the dropdown list
