How to Add Account Detail Types

  1. Go to the Admin Panel

    • In your EnterGes dashboard, click on Setup (usually in the left sidebar or top menu).

  2. Click on Accounting Settings

  3. Then go to Account Detail Types

  4. Click the “+ New Account Detail Type” button

  5. Fill in the form:

Field What to Enter
Name e.g., Bank Adjustments, Tax Offset
Account Type Choose: Expenses, Equity, Assets, etc.
Description e.g., Used for manual bank corrections.
  1. Click Save


Now You Can Use It

  • Go back to Accounting > Chart of Accounts

  • Create a new account or edit an existing one

  • You will now see the newly created Detail Type in the dropdown list
